Budget cuts mean no yearbook photo for the glee club, but Rachel is the only one upset about this. Meanwhile, Quinn tries to get into the Cheerios yearbook photo; and Will and Terri face serious problems in their relationship

Will is concerned that Sue is leaking info, so he visits with a rival club’s instructor (Eve) while the kids check out their competition. Meanwhile, Kurt gives Rachel a makeover, and he may have hidden motives for doing this

Mr. Schuester has the Glee Club split up into pairs to sing their favorite ballad, but when one kid gets sick, he’s forced to step in and winds up in a sticky situation. Meanwhile, Finn has dinner with Quinn’s parents.

Will encourages the Glee Club to support Artie, and asks each of them to perform in a wheelchair. Meanwhile, Kurt and Rachel compete for a big solo.

Things are changing in the social stratosphere at McKinley High when suddenly the popular kids learn how things are on the other side. In Glee club, Will starts using new methods to inspire the kids.

Sue makes the Glee kids compete against each other to sow seeds of dissension, then gets called into Principal Figgins’ office, along with Will. Meanwhile, the kids rally to show their support for Quinn.

Will decides to give New Directions some competition between them by having the boys go against the girls. Terri becomes the school nurse to check on Will.

A new face stirs things up for New Directions when April Rhodes (guest star Kristin Chenoweth) lends her voice to the show.

Kurt joins the football team just to impress his father. Finn and Quinn’s relationship get a shocking development. Rachel thinks her star is fading when Tina is given a better part during rehearsals which causes her to leave. Sue continues her schemes to dismantle the glee club.

Will forms an a capella group and spends more time with them than he does with New Directions after he is asked to preform at the PTA meeting with some surprising additions to his group. Meanwhile, Kurt is under pressure in his life which isn’t helped by Mercedes new found interest in finding a relationship.
